Who We Are

Tim is an old fashioned East Coast Irish-Italian working boy originally from Long Island, NY. The grandson of a stone setter who helped build skyscrapers in New York City after WWll, a strong work ethic was set upon him quite early on. Tim is one of many in the family who took naturally to working with his hands. Washing cars in Auto Body shops at the age of 20 led to a 22 year career as an auto collision tech/painter/color matcher. As it turned out, the fine details and craftsmanship of car painting in high volume well equipped shops made for a pretty good cabinet finisher. Along the way Tim met folks in the venetian plaster/artisan wall covering niche, and learned that business. Currently Tim is working with cold sprayed metal coatings to provide an actual plating that can have texture or be polished smooth- completely custom, or troweled-on super viscous liquid metal that can be stamped, or used with stencils then sanded through various grits of sandpaper to achieve any gloss level. The right materials for the job, using the right primer for the substrate, waiting for proper cure times, and using cabinet grade paint for cabinets all make for a job done right. We don’t get callbacks because of these tried and true methods. We guarantee our work for 3 years against workmanship defects and to support this guarantee, we don’t cut corners.
